| 46th ANNUAL WINE TASTING |
|
"Napa Valley's Other Treasures: White Varietals by Appellation" Sunday, August 24 5 to 7 p.m. The Grove at Silverado Resort Current and life members will receive their invitations/entry badges by mail. Those wishing to become members to attend the tasting may send their names and addresses and checks for $60 per person annual membership fee to NVWLA, P.O. Box 328, St. Helena, CA 94574 no later than July 31. Memberships may also be purchased at the gate on the day of the tasting for $70 per person. Checks payable to "NVWLA." Credit cards not accepted. Neither children nor infants will be allowed to enter the wine tasting area. |
| 2008 VARIETAL SEMINAR (18th Annual) |

"White Varietals: Napa Valley's Other Treasures" Saturday, August 23 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Culinary Institute of America - CIA at Greystone St. Helena, California Bob Pecota will moderate our presentations and activities which will include a component tasting of selected white varietals, a food and wine pairing, panel discussions focusing on techniques and trends and a tour of the Rudd Center at Greystone. Lunch in the herb garden is included. Participation in the seminar is limited to current members of the association ($60 annual dues also admit the member to the annual tasting the following day). The seminar registration fee is $150. Please mail fee and dues if necessary to NVWLA, P.O. Box 328, St. Helena, CA 94574. Checks payable to "NVWLA." Credit cards not accepted. Registration will be acknowledged by e-mail unless you prefer the telephone. Details about the seminar will be mailed on or about August 1. |
