Annual Tasting

The Annual Tasting has been a yearly event for over 50 years. Where once a half dozen Napa Valley wineries poured, we now expect more than ten times that many to join us among the grand oak trees of the Grove at Silverado Resort & Spa in Napa.

Every current member of NVWLA is invited to attend the Annual Tasting and there is no admission fee. The tasting is a benefit of membership.

Silverado Resort & Spa, Napa

This year, Napa Valley wineries were invited to pour wines from the 2012 vintage, wines made from one of the more celebrated harvests to date. A vintner's choice, the tasting included a broad spectrum of wines, especially those from small case lots of less than 1,000 and in many instances, less than 500.

A breezy Sunday afternoon brought perfect weather. We especially wish to thank the Wine Service Coöp, The Model Bakery, Hunnicutt Wines, and Louis Martini Winery for their generous donations of goods and services, and also Classic Party Rentals, Silverado Resort & Spa, V. Sattui Winery and Napa Printing and Graphics for their talented support.

75 Napa Valley wineries poured, many more than one wine. The wine list, alphabetical by winery follows. A list of wines by variety is also available.
